Ellen founded the Nature is a Human Right campaign, advocating for universal access to green spaces, and edited the anthology of essays inspired by the campaign, “Nature is a Human Right: Why We’re Fighting For Green in a Grey World”. Ellen also runs Dream Green, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering people to green their streets. Her second book, “Get Guerrilla Gardening: A Handbook for Planting in Public Places,” is a manual for transforming urban areas from grey to green through grassroots action.
